Individual therapy is a collaborative involvement in which you participate with an experienced professional to determine what to focus and work on and your overall goals. A trained therapist will be actively involved in asking questions, helping you get a deeper understanding of your situation, and providing emotional support throughout the entire process.
Individual therapy is also known as personal counselling, therapy or psychotherapy. In individual therapy, you meet with a therapist/clinician. There are many different approaches, and your therapist may use a single-treatment approach or combine several different styles.
In your therapy session, your therapist at Lifeward will use a variety of approaches, including cognitive-behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, and emotional-focused counselling. Our therapists are actively involved in helping you better understand your situation, provide emotional support. At Lifeward, we work with you to create goals and format a specific individual plan on how and when to work together.
